Sue Perkins, M.A. Ed
Sue is an educator, curriculum developer, presenter and faculty member with various organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her career focus is on supporting those who teach to be the strongest possible advocates, role models and champions for children.
Sue has authored two books, Fun Literacy Activities for After-School Programs: Books and Beyond and Colossal Clubs: Activities Based Curriculum for School-Age Programs, as well as numerous articles for education publications that support Kindergarten through Sixth grade students.
As a college instructor, Sue takes much pride in her dedication to insuring her students take away the importance of school climate and their role of influencing positive empowerment of their future students to claim healthy, supportive relationships within their school communities and into their futures.
As an endorser for the Council on Accreditation, Sue tours many schools throughout the world and provides her feedback and recommendations for programs serving students of all ages. Using her keen observation skills, a true love for community and her faith in justice, Sue has helped support many programs towards ongoing growth and excellence.
She has earned a Masters of Art degree in Education from Concordia University and continues on her path as a lifelong learner and world traveler. Sue makes her home in Napa, California and considers Napa, Sonoma and San Francisco Counties as her close community.
