Strengthening and Sustaining an Asset-Building Initiative
How many of us have been part of an important community initiative that
started with enthusiasm only to fizzle and lose energy? What we know to
be true is; "it's easier to start something than it is to sustain it."
This interactive training and planning session presents 10 critical indicators
required for sustaining inter-agency commitment to, and community-wide
involvement in, successful asset building initiatives. Participants have
the opportunity to assess their efforts against these indicators, explore
proven and promising practices, and develop strategies they can implement
in their respective schools and communities.
