Paul Osincup

Paul is known for his energetic, humorous, and engaging presentations. With a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, he has spent most of his career working in higher education with at-risk college students. Paul has served as Associate Director of Conflict Resolution and Student Conduct Services at Colorado State University (where he still teaches in the online Student Affairs in Higher Education Master’s Degree Program) as well as Associate Dean of Student Affairs at the Culinary Institute of America. In those roles, he worked with students facing severe adversity during college. Meeting with victims and perpetrators of sexual assaults, students experiencing mental health crises, and severe alcohol and drug issues, his primary focus has been on supporting students while keeping campuses safe. Paul’s work with Restorative Justice at the collegiate level has been featured in the Chronicle of Higher Education and the “Little Book of Restorative Justice for Colleges and Universities”. In 2012 Paul served as a consultant to the U.S. Department of Higher Education Center for Alcohol, Drug, and Violence Prevention Emerging Issues Forum. Currently Paul is a national speaker and trainer who speaks to students from elementary school to graduate school as well as administrators, teachers, and staff.

Despite the very serious nature of his work, Paul has always been determined to use positivity and humor to ignite individual ambition and galvanize groups.  Along with his educational speaking and training, Paul also speaks to organizations and companies about the value of humor and laughter in work & leadership which is highlighted in his TEDx Talk: "Leading with Laughter: The Power of Humor in Leadership"   You can also find out more about Paul by visiting his website at
